MUSIC PROMOS FOR 'CONCRETE & STREET LAMPS'
AND 'TRUTH & LIES'

Focal Point Television has recently completed two pop videos for emerging talent Jake Searson. Produced over a couple of weeks, the videos really showcase our in-house talents, demonstrating what can be achieved on a limited budget. Video director Simon Bisset said "It was really great to be given such a wide creative brief from Tideline Records. Working with Jake and his management, we came up with lots of cool ideas and everyone seems really pleased by the end results. It's certainly been one of the most fun things I have ever worked on!

The images above show stills from both videos. Below shows filming of the car sequences for 'Concrete' at our in-house studio. We hired the talents of special make-up effects artist Sophia Mason to transform members of Jake's family in to gruesome ghosts and car crash victims. They certainly made a big impression at the local Burger King after the shoot! We then spent a fun filled, if cold night chasing around the M25 in the hired TVR filming background plates, shots out of the car and overhead street lamps. The band footage was shot at Manor Park's infamous 'Ruskin Arms'.

The ideas behind the 'Truth' video were more twisted with Jake playing the role of a love sick popstar transforming a mannequin into the love of his life. Model/Actress Beth Lucas gave a fantastic dummy-like performance that at times left us wondering who was real and who was not!
