Quentin Wilson introduced this in-store promo video for the bank’s Car Purchase Plan. The brief was to explain to customers the complex details of the product in an entertaining and engaging way. We used a combination of unusual car-based archive footage (sheds that drive, hopeless attempts at flying cars) and quirky 3D animation to guide the viewer. This was backed up by a suitably comic voice-over from Quentin.
The film ran continuously in all A & L branches for some time and was deemed a great success by the client and the agency.

We have been filming and editing videos for IPEX since 1998. This international print exhibition at the NEC involves Focal Point spending a week covering the event, filming interviews with important industry leaders, vox-pops, stand interviews, PR events and press launches.
From this footage, we immediately start providing the client with marketing material for the next show in 4 year's time. This includes a DVD used to promote the show, as well as specifically targeted web-based clips. The videos are often very graphic intense in their production, reflecting the high tech, extremely visual nature of the print industry.
Focal Point Television are the leading producers of unauthorized music documentaries for the global DVD market. Filmed mostly in the USA, over the last five years we have made over 30 films spanning a wide genre of musical styles, including Madonna, Michael Jackson, 50 Cent, Led Zeppelin, Oasis and Nirvana.
We have a network of producers, researchers and cameramen handling all aspects of production in house, from research and filming to editing and mastering. These films have taken our crews from the snows of Canada to the deserts of California and have offered us a rare glimpse into the lives of some extraordinary people from a variety of diverse backgrounds.
We were commissioned by RLH to produce films for their three leading Novartis flea treatment products. The films were made in varied styles, reflecting the diverse core brand values associated with each product. ‘Sentinel’ involved a comedy routine, filmed against green screen and featuring a highly trained dog and cat refusing any other flea product. ‘Milbemax’ focused on the family and featured a dog dreaming of a better life. ‘Interceptor’ was made in an “ER” style and featured a day in the life of a busy vet who happened to be a dog lover as well. The films were used for a Novartis global branding initiative and have subsequently been provided in a number of formats for download via the agency secure intra-net site, from fully uncompressed versions to 3GPP/2 versions for mobile phones.
